"I would happily recommend Claire's wedding services to every bride. I initially approached Claire to design and make our wedding cake, and to do the make up for the bridal party. I quickly realised that she was able to do far more than that as well. As well as giving us lots of advice on planning for the big day, Claire helped us find a great photographer, and sorted out our favours too (delicious squares of traditional Scottish tablet). This really helped us out as although I am from Callander, I live in London, so everything had to be planned on very short visits and by phone.
I felt Claire really understood the look that I wanted for the cake, and she did a fabulous job - it was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. She prepared different colour samples for the sugar roses, and was able to find the exact shade of pink that I was looking for. She also took time to talk through the style of make up that I was looking for. We looked at pictures of my dress together, and the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses and flowers. Mum, Gran and I all had a make up trial with Claire, which was really useful. Claire really knew what we wanted - a soft and feminine, yet glamorous look.
On the day, amid all the other things on my mind, I knew that I wouldn't have to think about the make up or the cake - Claire took care of everything: myself, Mum, Gran and four bridesmaids. She was even able to put my veil in properly (the hairdresser had shown me how earlier, but I couldn't work it out!) After the wedding ceremony, when we came in to the dining room with our guests for our wedding breakfast, the cake was set up just as we had wanted.
I honestly don't know what we'd have done without her! Such happy memories! And looking back I really DON'T know how we'd have done it - or for that matter how you managed to do everything you did on our wedding day, Claire thank you!"
