The new site, afhl. Pixel Army worked with Hockey Alberta staff to ensure functionality and appearance that meets the needs of the organization, and the entire hockey community across the province. Children and youth are allowed to participate in limited team sport activities, subject to mandatory restrictions as outlined by the Government of Alberta. Hockey Alberta and its Senior and Junior leagues unanimously decided to conclude all regular league play for the remainder of the season during a meeting held on February 8.

Kyle is extremely pleased and thankful for the opportunity to remain within the Calgary Fire program, a program he believes in passionately. He has spent the last 2 seasons coaching in the Calgary Fire Bantam AA program with GHC Fire White, where the team enjoyed success over the 2 seasons on the ice, and equally as importantly, off the ice. The balance of male and female exposure over the years, while being in an competitive elite environment has provided a unique perspective that Kyle will apply on a daily basis with the Fire U program. Kyle has also had numerous opportunities to work with Hockey Calgary and Hockey Canada on various coach mentorship programs throughout the years. As the father of three hockey players, Kyle understands the trials and tribulations that go with Elite Hockey, and his goal is to provide a supportive, fun, and development focused environment for our Calgary Fire U18 AAA team and by extension, the entire Calgary Fire program. Female Elite Hockey
The Steelers will continue to skate next season. Albert, Red Deer, Calgary and Okotoks, were awarded AAA midget female franchises for the season by Hockey Alberta, completing what was a two year process that began back in after a third-party review showed female hockey in the province needed to change. But after 12 cities submitted bids, Lloydminster was still left standing, and is the only team not located in central Alberta. The bantam program will also see changes, going from an 11 team Triple-A system to a 12 team AA model, focused more on regional play.
